One-day Mount Meru hiking tour packages will be available from Moshi or Arusha in January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, and December 2023, 2024, and 2025. Our 1-day Mount Meru hike package is designed for guests with limited time and no interest in reaching the summit of the second-highest mountain in Tanzania. You will have the opportunity to learn about the people who live on the mountainside while admiring the breathtaking scenery and some animals. It begins at Tengeru Cultural Center, 12 kilometers from Arusha Town, on the mountain's slopes. One day of climbing Mount Meru lasts seven hours and covers 18 kilometers up and down.

You depart Arusha or Moshi and head to Arusha National Park in the morning to begin your trek up Mount Meru. Upon arrival at the entrance gate of Arusha National Park, your guide completes the necessary paperwork and continues to the nearby Momella Gate. Day hikers can easily access Miriakamba Hut via the direct route. It takes 4–5 hours, depending on your stamina and pace.

The hike starts at Momella Gate of Arusha National Park at 1,500 meters and treks up to Miriakamba Hut at 2,500 meters. During our 1-day hike up Mount Meru, trekkers get to see distant views of Mt. Kilimanjaro and animals such as buffalo, giraffes, warthogs, dik-diks, monkeys, etc.   Birds likely to be seen include turacos, hornbills, and butterflies such as the golden-winged forrester and the mocker swallowtail, among others.

•At 08:00 after-breakfast drive to Tengeru Cultural Center. Upon arrival you will enjoy a fresh cup of herbal tea while having a briefing from your guide about 1 day Mount meru hiking (day hike) tour packages 2023, 2024, and 2025.

• 9:00hrs Mount Meru hiking starts. You will follow the tropical trails under banana canopy while listening to some brilliant legendary stories about Meru from your guide. The majority of the hike is more like walking up a steep hill by passing farms and village houses.

• 12:00hrs the hike definitely steers up your appetite this is why we'd stop at a comfortable spot for lunch.

• 13:00hrs After lunch, Our 1 day Mount meru hiking continues for an hour and we'd reach the Meru falls. The altitude here is 22000 meters the falls are gigantic and refreshing. You may take a dip. After all while not while you are an adventurous person!

• 16:00hrs After taking a few hours relaxing and enjoying scenery we'd start going back to the center.

• 17:00hrs We’d be back at the center where you will be transferred back to your residence or hotel in Arusha or Moshi Town.
